BRICKIE FOOTBALL FLASHBACKS
September 24, 2004

Mark Drobac Jr. (University of St. Francis) drags Tommy Finn (Northwestern University) towards the goal line on September 24, 2004. Drobacs touchdown would propel the Brickies to an upset victory of state ranked #1 Andrean. The win would end a three year undefeated run that the Niners had in the Lake Athletic Conference.

Drobac rips off another TD run against Andrean as Tyler Harangody (Indiana University) chases. Andrean would go on to win the 3A State Championship while finishing a distant third in the Lake Athletic Conference's Black Division. Drobac would later play in the Indiana North/South All Star Game, making the first father-son combo to play in the game in Hobart history. Mark Jr. was named top linebacker in the State of Indiana in 2005.

Class of 2008 Hall of Fame Inductee Jerry Hicks gives last minute instructions to the Field Goal team, as Sophmore Billy Manolopolous prepares to kick what would be a State Championship Game record 45 yard field goal against Franklin Central. The kick would give the Bricks some breathing room in capturing their 2nd State Title 17-7 over the Flashes. "Mano" would go on to kick for the Indiana Hoosiers.
