HILLARY CLINTON VISITS HOBART
NY Senator Hillary Clinton visits with Brickie Josh Huddleston outside of Brickie Bowl during Presidential Primary Campaign in Indiana.

TWO BRICKIES RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIP OFFERS FROM MARIAN
Senior Quarterback Matt Barras and Senior Wide Receiver Roger Cardwell received scholarship offers from Marian College. The Knights are coached by Hobart-alum Ted Karras Jr. The Knights have three former Brickies on their roster; Josh Huddleston, Kevin Koselke, and Andrew Jackson. The Knights set a school record for wins in 2008.

BOBBY JAMES ACCEPTS FULL ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP TO CENTRAL MICHIGAN
Senior Wide Receiver Bobby James, the son of Hobart English Teacher Mike James and Barb Lau, has accepted a full athletic scholarship to play football for the University of Central Michigan. James selected CMU over several other Division 1 schools.

TEN BRICKIES EARN ALL NCC CONFERENCE HONORS
After finishing the season 9-2, several Brickies were named to the NCC All Conference Teams. Bobby James, Roger Cardwell, Matt Barras, Joey Aleman, Nick Taddei, Colton Halterman and Mike Josifovski were named to the First Team. Chris Sullivan and Cameron Spencer were named Second Team, and Brandon Laba was listed as Honorable Mention.

8 BRICKIES EARN ALL ACADEMIC TEAM HONORS
Matt Barras, Chris Sullivan, Cameron Spencer, Timmy Schultz, Ben Zury, Matt Boyd, Nick Taddei and Colton Halterman were all named to the 2008 Edition of the NCC's All Academic Team.

TIMES ALL AREA SELECTIONS
Hobart's Bobby James was selected as Times Offensive Player of the Year for 2008. James finished his career at Hobart as Indiana's 8th All Time leading receiver.Joining James on the First Team was Senior Kicker Mike Josifovski. Wide Receiver Roger Cardwell and Offensive Lineman Colton Halterman were named to the 2nd Team. Quaterback Matt Barras was named Honorable Mention.

AP ALL STATE TEAMS ANNOUNCED
Seniors Bobby James and Mike Josifovski were selected to the 2008 AP All State First Team. Senior Matt Barras was named All State Honorable Mention.

IFCA ALL STATE TEAMS ANNOUNCED
Seniors Bobby James and Mike Josifovski were selected as First Team IFCA All State.

PORRAS WINS STATE TITLE FOR BRICKIES
AFTER FINISHING SECOND HIS SOPHMORE YEAR, JUNIOR DEFENSIVE BACK FRANKIE PORRAS WON THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP AT 130LBS IN 2009.
